Self-Defense
This has been an extremely fun unit, everyone is handling themselves well and working hard. We have had two homework assignments - the physical activity tracking sheets, week one and two. The majority of your points come from your self-defense packet, having it filled out and having 4/5 (depending on your class) complete warrior x-fit workouts - 90points. You will have a 50 point written final, 50 point skill final for combinations and 30 points for the form and board break. Everything will be due at your final! Don't for Final: White Belt Form - 18 moves memorized and performed in front of the class 4 Self-Defense Combinations - Choke Defense - Punch Defense -Shoulder Grab Defense - Wrist Grab Defense Breaking a Board - palm, elbow or kick Written Final - avoidance, descriptions of combinations, prevention mind set, what happens to your body during an attack, assertive body language, PRACTICE!
